"I still lack matches," admits Sinner

Jannik Sinner fell short in the final of the Rome Masters 1000 against his great rival, Carlos Alcaraz. Despite this, the Italian expressed satisfaction with his tournament, though not everything was perfect yet.
He hopes to arrive at Roland-Garros even sharper. He stated: "If I could go back, I would play certain points differently. I still lack matches.
That said, there’s no excuse. It’s just how I feel—if I had to replay some points, I would play them differently.
I played the maximum number of matches in Rome, which is very good. Now, I have a week off, which is nice for me. A few days to mentally disconnect and then prepare for an even bigger tournament.
I hope to be ready. We’ll see."
Sinner will be the No. 1 seed at Roland-Garros and could only face Alcaraz again in the final.
That might apply to the 7-6 set, but not to the 6-1 set.
I can imagine him having a bit of a mental let down in the final after the suspension and then reaching the final in the first tournament he entered afterwards, a Masters 1000 no less.
