"I try not to show too much emotion because Aryna notices everything in her box," says Sabalenka's partner
Georgios Frangulis, Aryna Sabalenka's partner, gave an interview to the media outlet Clay Tenis in which he explained how he supports the Belarusian player.
He states: "Staying in the box during tough matches is by far the hardest part. I never say anything during matches.
I try not to show too much emotion, because Aryna notices everything others do in the box. I cheer as loudly as possible and make sure she feels supported.
For me, the most important thing is afterward: making sure she feels okay once the match is over.
To lift her spirits, I simply tell her I love her and move on. She is used to losses, but fortunately, she is more used to victories."
Frangulis has also made headlines recently in France as he became one of the investors who joined the capital of the Le Mans football club, a second-division team.
