US Open: Djokovic Faces One of His Favorite Victims, Alcaraz and Sabalenka in Action – Schedule for the First Quarterfinals

The quarterfinals begin on Tuesday at the US Open, with two matches scheduled for the day session and two others for the night session.

Kicking off the action at 5:30 PM French time, Jessica Pegula will take on Barbora Krejcikova. The American, still without dropping a single set in this tournament, continues to impress. Krejcikova, on the other hand, will be aiming for her first semifinal in New York after her miraculous victory against Taylor Townsend.

Next, Carlos Alcaraz and Jiri Lehecka will step onto Arthur Ashe Stadium. The two players will face off for the third time this season, with one win each.

Starting at 1:00 AM French time, defending champion Aryna Sabalenka will be up against Marketa Vondrousova. This match will be followed by the clash between Novak Djokovic and Taylor Fritz. Facing last year's finalist, the Serb is the favorite with his record of 10 wins in as many encounters.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.

It's a shame that so many matches are being canceled. TT ,you are destroying your game ,and thereby killing your app. I don't know how many matches others have had canceled , but I'm at 3 and it's only thursday.

This week I have used all my formulas and best guesses to try to achieve the high score jimandlori958 set in our last competition. I am two games short because of cancelations and I need all wins to get there.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Grenier and Hsu at the Kobe tournament? The match was played to completion and on time.

Grenier def Ysu 6-2 , 6-2 at Kobe today and the TT canceled the match.
