Unfortunately, he destroyed me," Struff unfiltered on his straight-set loss to Djokovic at the US Open
For the eighth time in his career, Jan-Lennard Struff fell to Novak Djokovic (6-3, 6-3, 6-2), without having taken a single set from him in over five years.
In comments relayed by Eurosport, the German admitted that Djokovic was simply too strong:
"Unfortunately, he destroyed me. He made very few errors, and I couldn't attack. I tried to get back into the match several times, but it was really difficult. He gave me no chance.
