"I was very lucky," Andreescu's tears after her ankle injury

With the physio's intervention, the 25-year-old player gritted her teeth and managed to finish the match after 1 hour and 44 minutes of play. Invited by the organizers, she expressed her emotions following the scare: "I was very lucky, what happened is really unfortunate. I don’t know what to say. Thank you all, these kinds of moments are never easy."
