I will do everything to relive that euphoria," Tsitsipas reflects on his 2019 ATP Finals title
Stefanos Tsitsipas had surprised everyone when, in 2019, he won the ATP Finals in London by defeating Dominic Thiem in the final.
This Sunday, the day of the final in Turin, the Greek player reminisced about that moment and also paid tribute to the Austrian.
"Six years ago, I experienced my greatest joy as a tennis player by winning the ATP Finals in my first appearance.
It was particularly beautiful to share that stage with Domi, my best friend on the tour. The euphoria may have faded, but I will do everything to relive it.
