Having secured a spot in the quarterfinals at Roland-Garros, Tiafoe enjoyed the luxury of reaching this stage of the tournament without dropping a single set. This feat hadn’t been accomplished by an American at Porte d’Auteuil since André Agassi in 1995. When asked about the statistic by the press, the world No. 16 responded:
"Yeah, that’s a pretty crazy stat—I just found out about it, and I’m pretty shocked. I want to keep it going. As great as it is, this is still a huge opportunity here, and I just want to keep pushing forward without overthinking it.
