I'm happy she came and I'd like to see her play too, Alcaraz reacts to Raducanu's presence at his Queen's match

On Wednesday, the US Open revealed the pairs who will compete in the new mixed doubles event. Among the participants, Carlos Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu will be paired together.

The news sparked excitement among many tennis observers and fans, who have since been analyzing the chemistry between the two athletes. Emma Raducanu’s presence in the stands at Queen’s on Saturday to watch Alcaraz’s semifinal further fueled the rumors.

The man himself, who qualified for the tournament final, addressed the topic with reporters:

"I saw that on social media. I'm happy she came. But I was focused on my match and didn’t notice. Still, it was nice to have her in the stands. […] I’d like to see her play too, but it depends on the schedule. I have training and matches. I’d need some free time.

Another attempt at promoting womens, riding along on the coat tails of the men, again.

Mens doubles should be promoted, not mixed.
Wy men’s over women’s? All doubles is pointless anyway. At least the mixed at this years USO treats it for what it is - an exhibition.
