"I'm not bad, but you are the greatest of all time," Bublik's words to Sinner during their handshake at the US Open

I'm not bad, but you are the greatest of all time, Bublik's words to Sinner during their handshake at the US Open

Facing the defending champion in the round of 16 at the US Open, Bublik was completely outplayed, winning only three games in the entire match (6-1, 6-1, 6-1).

Although he had been one of only two players (along with Alcaraz) to defeat him this year (in Halle), the Kazakh player did not have the weapons this time to trouble the world number one.

Faced with such a performance from his opponent, Bublik slipped in this phrase during the handshake, perfectly illustrating the level displayed by the Italian:

"It's insane. I'm not bad, but you are the GOAT."

In the quarterfinals, Sinner will now face his compatriot Musetti (10th seed).
