"I'm proud of what I've achieved in these circumstances," Swiatek sends a message on her social networks

Iga Swiatek was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the US Open by Amanda Anisimova. Having easily beaten her 6-0, 6-0 at Wimbledon a few weeks ago, the Pole was left without a solution this time.
On her Instagram account, Swiatek sent a message of thanks and said she was now preparing for the upcoming tournaments in Asia.
"Thank you New York and congratulations to Anisimova, you played amazingly. Good luck for the rest of the tournament.
As for me... it was a superb tour of the United States, full of lessons, incredible memories and motivation to do better in the future.
This time, the US Open was difficult for me and for my team (I'm really grateful to you, thank you for helping me, and a big thank you also to the WTA physiotherapists and the US Open doctors).
Playing matches without training on my days off, dealing with a foot problem, fighting to get ahead...
We reached the quarter-finals with a lot to deal with, and I'm pretty proud of what I achieved under the circumstances.
Above all, I'm proud of the experience I've gained. I'll be back next year with a lot of determination.
Now it's time to rest, take care of my body and work even harder in Asia. See you soon!"
