Isner puts Sinner's suspension into perspective: "It's like an off-season"
In his podcast Nothing Major, John Isner spoke about Jannik Sinner's return from suspension. For him, this suspension should be put into perspective, and it at least allows Sinner to return in good physical condition.
"It's a perfect start for him. In fact, he was out for three months, not due to an injury. I think it's more of a blessing because it's rare to have three months of rest.
Of course, he would have preferred to play in those tournaments, but he didn't have a choice, he couldn't. I think these three months, during which he could strengthen himself physically, will be very useful for him in the years to come.
We have to consider this suspension as another off-season that he benefited from."
