Sinner uncertain for Hamburg tournament

Jannik Sinner held a press conference after his victory over Francisco Cerundolo. The Italian, marking his return in Rome, is gaining momentum match after match.

Scheduled to play in the Hamburg tournament the week before Roland-Garros, Sinner is still unsure whether he will participate.

He stated: "We’ll have to see if I go to Hamburg, how I feel physically. The impact of a tournament is different.

I already knew before the match (against Cerundolo) that I needed to raise my level, and I arrived much more focused, the warm-up was better. I was able to translate that, and the crowd gave me a warm applause.

I’m trying to understand where I stand. I need to push harder, take things day by day. All of this is part of the process."
