It always has to be twisted," Kyrgios eases tensions on the controversy with Eubanks
In an interview with the Guardian, Nick Kyrgios commented on the BBC's decision not to renew him as a consultant for Wimbledon.
In his response, he criticized the channel's choice to hire Christopher Eubanks in his place. However, the American, ranked 131st in the world, confirmed on Monday that he would not be working for the BBC. Thus, Kyrgios took to X (formerly Twitter) to put an end to the discussions:
"Honestly, the media makes me laugh. I've always appreciated Eubanks as a commentator. It always has to be twisted and turned into some kind of rivalry or tension. I think if we worked together, it would be beneficial for the sport. Tennis is weird.
