It's the most beautiful moment of my life," Bublik says after reaching the quarterfinals at Roland Garros
Alexander Bublik continues his unexpected run by defeating Jack Draper in the Roland Garros round of 16.
The Kazakh, known for his dislike of clay courts, showed strong emotions after his victory. This was evident in his post-match interview:
"You know, sometimes in life you only get one chance. I felt like this was mine. I couldn’t let it slip away. This is the most beautiful moment of my life. Thank you, ladies and gentlemen (in French).
I’m standing here as if I’ve won the tournament (laughs). You’re going to make me cry, stop applauding! I have another match to play. I’m a professional tennis player, I need to prepare. Thank you all.
