Jabeur Forced to Retire in Wimbledon First Round

Ons Jabeur unfortunately had to retire against Tomova in the first round of Wimbledon. After an initial medical timeout during which the Tunisian player visibly expressed her deep sadness, she ultimately ended the match at 7-6, 2-0 in favor of her opponent.

With a record of 15 wins and 15 losses in 2025, the two-time Wimbledon finalist has once again been let down by her body.

As for the Bulgarian player, she will face the winner of the match between Ostapenko and Kartal.
