Jeanjean passes the first round of Indian Wells qualifying

Léolia Jeanjean must go through qualifying if she wants to play in the Indian Wells tournament. She started it in the best possible way, defeating Mananchaya Sawangkaew with a score of 6-2, 6-4.

She was able to take advantage of a likely diminished Sawangkaew, who had taken a medical timeout during the first set.

In the next round, the French player will face Hailey Baptiste or Ena Shibahara.
