Kaflnikov merciless with Swiatek: All you do is complain!

Iga Swiatek's recent comments on the WTA calendar have caused a stir in the tennis world. While the Pole has repeatedly complained about the overloaded schedule that tenniswomen and tennismans have to cope with, some have found it hard to accept the criticisms exposed by the world number 1.

This was particularly true of Ivegueni Kafenlnikov, former world No. 1, whose comments quickly went viral.

Clearly very annoyed, the Russian expressed himself on social networks in a message that was probably too aggressive for the situation: "Is someone pushing you to play? All you do is complain!

I'll tell you what you deserve! You deserve to be paid a lot less than you're getting now! What do you think?"

Iga has a right to complain about the strain of WTA demands. She is the #1 player. if she doesn’t speak up, how will things change.

TT spelled his name wrong. His name Yevgeny Kafelnikov. Former world #1, winner of a FO and AO, and Olympic gold medalist in singles (2000 IIRC)

Cocoda
Kafelnikov is 100000% right. Iga is the most annoying tennis player in the history of tennis.

Top tier women are getting injured plus w the Olympics ppl went extra just to be able to compete .. while Coco was heading the Olympics she lost her defense of her 1st 500 event from last year because representing where your from is more important career wise

I think she has a right to her opinion. And tennis is the only sport that plays all year except for december

so more opportunities for everyone to earn and anyone is not forcing you to play

As we move to the end of this month and also closing out the year I am wishing all of those following me a Merry Christmas and a Happy/Healthy New Year.

Let's make that wish for all 2000 plus players hoping for 5 wins each day. Hoping ŵhen we open the results page to see all green, and no red. And especially NO CANCELED matches.

From me and my rotti JAZ, I bid you all good night, and see you in...

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.

The finals are here, and we scramble for the best finish. I've been chasing "King" all year and I was able to shrink the spread a little. Skelp is also closing the gap.

Seasons best to all the regulars in our league.

Will you all be back in the new year.?

Steffi Graf completed a Golden Slam (not just a career Grand Slam) when she was 19. She is the only person to accomplish that, winning the four majors plus Olympic gold the same calendar year.
