Khachanov and Rublev to play doubles together in Hong Kong

Titleholder Andrey Rublev has logically chosen to begin his 2025 season in Hong Kong, where he will defend his crown.

That said, determined to play as many matches as possible before the Australian Open, the number 8 has also decided to enter the doubles competition, where he will be partnered by his compatriot and friend, Karen Khachanov (ranked 19th in the world).

Other singles players have also opted for doubles. Lorenzo Musetti will play alongside Lorenzo Sonego, Arthur Fils will partner Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Denis Shapovalov will play alongside Juncheng Shang.
