Kyrgios defeated on his return to competition at the World Tennis League
Nick Kyrgios reappeared on a tennis court this Friday at the World Tennis League in Abu Dhabi.
The Australian, who is part of the Kites team with Casper Ruud, Simona Halep and Jasmine Paolini, faced Andrey Rublev in his first match of the exhibition.
And for this eagerly-awaited return, Kyrgios lost 6-4 (winning set format) to the Russian.
However, he won his doubles match alongside Paolini against the pairing of Caroline Garcia and Denis Shapovalov (7-5).
