The European team didn't have to worry for long in this Laver Cup 2024.
Stefanos Tsitsipas played a very convincing match, displaying a very solid level of tennis to dispose of an unsettled Thanasi Kokkinakis (6-1, 6-4).

Very aggressive, the Greek never fell into the trap.
Beaten by the same Australian in the first round of the US Open, Tsitsipas perfectly demonstrated the class of difference between the men.
Distributing the game very well (26 winners, 8 unforced errors), he left his opponent far from the ball.
