Legends According to Federer: His Ranking of the Five Greatest Players of All Time

In an exclusive interview, Federer reveals the five players he considers the greatest of all time.

A legend among legends, Roger Federer has had a busy media tour this early autumn. His presence at the Laver Cup led to numerous interviews where he spoke on various topics.

For the American media outlet Complex, Federer had to unveil his top 5 players in history. While his Big 3 counterparts are certainly included, the Swiss star expressed his admiration for some icons from the 80s and 90s:

"I needed to have a GOAT (greatest of all time), someone you put up on your bedroom wall and want to imitate. For me, that was Stefan Edberg. He always came to the net and was very elegant. He was the coolest player.

Then, Boris Becker. They were always competing against each other, so I always watched them. Pete Sampras was next, and then, of course, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic."
