Lehečka Defeats Draper at Queen's to Become the 2nd Czech Finalist in the Open Era

Lehečka (30th) faced Draper (6th) in the semifinals of Queen's.
After a hard-fought three-set match, Lehečka overcame the local favorite Draper in 2 hours and 6 minutes to advance to the final of the London tournament. Following two sets won by each player, the two battled it out in the decisive third set.
Precise behind his serve and efficient in the rare break opportunities, the world No. 30 secured his semifinal victory 6-4, 4-6, 7-5, simultaneously becoming the second Czech finalist in the Open Era. This also marks his 8th victory over a top-10 player.
The 23-year-old player has now reached his fifth career final and his first in an ATP 500 event. He is the first Czech player to reach a grass-court final since Tomáš Berdych at Wimbledon in 2010.
In the final, he will face the winner of the all-Spanish clash between Alcaraz and Bautista Agut.
