Lleyton Hewitt and his son won a doubles match at the Sydney Challenger
At 44 years old, Lleyton Hewitt accepted a wild-card to play in the doubles draw in Sydney with his son Cruz. Aged 16 and ranked 759th in the world, he will try to follow in his father's footsteps.
After his defeat in the second round against Hayato Matsuoka, he began his match with his father against Hayden Jones and Pavle Marinkov, also invited by the organizers.
The Hewitt family did not go into details as the two players won the match 6-1, 6-0 in just 48 minutes of play.
In the quarterfinals, they will face Dane Sweeney and Calum Puttergill.
