Lopez sees Sinner win 14 Grand Slam titles!
In an interview with Corriere dello Sport, Feliciano Lopez, former world No. 12 and director of the Madrid Masters 1000, spoke about the future of Jannik Sinner, the hungry world No. 1.
Asked how many Grand Slam titles the Italian could win, he ventured a prediction: 14.
He declared: "It's difficult to say how many Grand Slams Sinner will win. He'll certainly be in double figures, let's say 14. This year, he's had a season beyond all logic, winning an unreal number of matches. There's no doubt that he deserves to be number 1 in the world.
If there's one thing more impressive than the intensity of his tennis, it's his ability to keep the bar high. Everyone else has their ups and downs, but not him. If I think about it, two years ago he was a different player and today he still wants to improve, so I can only imagine what he could play if he kept it up."
