Now coaching the young talent Henry Bernet, Lüthi opened up about Sinner's doping case to Corriere del Ticino: "I admire Sinner for the way he has been able to handle 2024 and the first months of 2025. He has done it like a true world No. 1. He is a player who deserves all the respect.
His case is far from being a doping case. But I prefer not to comment on the decisions made by the authorities who addressed this issue.
There is probably a lack of clarity in the rules. But I do not want to enter into such a delicate and difficult debate, especially regarding ointments and painkillers.
