Madison Keys speaks out on exhibitions: "I'm not going to pay to see someone serve at 80 km/h"
While exhibitions have been multiplying in recent days and will continue until the end of the month, Madison Keys has given her opinion on these events that divide the tennis world.
"I'm not going to pay to see someone serve at 80 km/h"
The Australian Open champion participated in the Charlotte Invitational a few days ago, challenging Venus Williams, insisting that she gave it her all so that spectators could see "real tennis."
"I wouldn't pay to go see an exhibition... I'm not going to pay to see someone serve at 80 km/h and just put the ball back in the court. I want to see real tennis, so I make an effort," she stated on the podcast The Players Box.
