Mannarino Benefits from Draper's Withdrawal to Enter Shanghai Masters 1000 Main Draw

Jack Draper will need to spend more time in rehabilitation than expected. The British player, ranked 7th in the world and winner of the Indian Wells Masters earlier this season, has suffered an arm injury and ended his 2025 season after the US Open, where the 23-year-old withdrew before his second-round match against Zizou Bergs.
Registered to participate in the Chengdu, Tokyo, and Shanghai tournaments during the Asian tour, Draper has logically withdrawn from all three events. Regarding the Shanghai Masters 1000, Jack Draper is the first player to officially confirm his withdrawal from the tournament in the Chinese city.
This withdrawal benefits Adrian Mannarino. The Frenchman, ranked 55th in the world this week thanks to his strong run at the US Open but first on the alternate list, enters the main draw directly without having to go through the qualifying rounds.
