Adrian Mannarino seems to have rediscovered his tennis form this week at Paris-Bercy. After several very complicated months in terms of his level of play and results, the Frenchman gave himself a breath of fresh air by qualifying for the last 16 of the Rolex Paris Masters.
Two days after his first-round triumph over Tommy Paul (6-3, 7-5), he followed it up perfectly in the second round, dominating Zizou Bergs in just over two hours (3-6, 6-2, 6-4) in the intimacy of court n°2.
Initially dominated in the first set, he turned the situation around by breaking early in the second. The Belgian never looked back.
Mannarino will again have his card to play in the Round of 16, where he will face Australian Jordan Thompson, ranked 28th in the world.
