Amanda Anisimova withdrew from the professional tour between April 2023 and January 2024. A break that proved very beneficial for the American, who is now set to enter the Top 10 and has qualified for her first Grand Slam final.

Yet, it seems some criticized her hiatus, as she explained in a press conference: "I showed that anything is possible.

Many told me I would never return to the top after taking a break in my career.

I struggled with that because I believed I could come back and win a Grand Slam tournament. Proving to everyone that you can reach the top is a special moment.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.
