McEnroe: "Sabalenka is the favourite".

This Saturday, not before 10pm, Aryna Sabalenka and Jessica Pegula will battle it out for the final crown of this US Open 2024.

When asked about this match, Eurosport consultant John McEnroe was keen to highlight Sabalenka's level of play, even comparing her to Serena Williams: "They're two of the greatest hitters ever to play women's tennis.

I think Sabalenka has really improved her movement, but I don't think at her best she's as athletic as Serena. But she's getting close.

I have a lot of respect for her because she's really maximized what she can do on the court and that's why she's finally winning major tournaments and is in contention in almost every major tournament.

She's the favorite."

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.
