Medvedev announces end of collaboration with Simon
Daniil Medvedev and Gilles Simon began a collaboration last year that failed to live up to expectations, with the Russian failing to win a title in 2024.
Present in Rotterdam, where he will play his 1st round match tomorrow against Stan Wawrinka, the world No. 5 announced in a press conference the end of his association with the Frenchman:
"Gilles and I have decided to stop working together. Honestly, it was a very good experience, with a lot of good things.
It didn't go exactly as we wanted, especially in terms of results.
We didn't win any titles or Grand Slams, but I learned new things about tennis. I'm sure that will help me in the future."
