Medvedev to take part in Marseille tournament
Daniil Medvedev is in search of his best form. The Russian player, eliminated in the second round of the Australian Open by Learner Tien after reaching the final of the same tournament last year, will not be idle during the month of February.
Before heading off to the Middle East for the Doha and Dubai tournaments, Medvedev will make a short detour to France, where the world No. 7 will play in the Marseille tournament from February 10 to 16.
Medvedev won the Open 13 Provence in 2021 against Pierre-Hugues Herbert, and the US Open winner that same year has been on the hunt for an ATP Tour trophy since his victory at the Rome Masters 1000 in 2023.
He's keen to put an end to this drought and will therefore be playing an ATP 250 tournament to build up his matches and try to regain his confidence.
