Medvedev too strong for Monfils!

Le 27/09/2024 à 12h20 par Elio Valotto
Medvedev too strong for Monfils!

In the end, there were no surprises.

Faced with Dannil Medvedev in the first round of the ATP 500 in Beijing, Gaël Monfils simply didn't play well enough to win (6-3, 6-4).

Subdued by his opponent in the exchange and trapped by the quality of his opponent's return, Monfils lost logically and almost without regret.

For his part, Medvedev kicked off his tournament with authority and will face another Frenchman in the second round: Adrian Mannarino.
