Monte-Carlo Masters 1000: Moutet to Face Etcheverry, Monfils and Muller Also Set
After the conclusion of the qualifying rounds, all players now know their first-round opponents. Corentin Moutet, the only French player to advance through both qualifying rounds after defeating Gabriel Diallo and David Goffin, will face Tomas Martin Etcheverry in his first main-draw match.
Gaël Monfils and Alexandre Muller were also waiting to learn their opponents, having drawn qualifiers for their opening matches. They will face Fabian Marozsan and Camilo Ugo Carabelli, respectively. Among the other qualifiers, Mariano Navone will take on Matteo Berrettini and could potentially meet Alexander Zverev in the second round.
Fresh off his title in Bucharest, Flavio Cobolli will go up against Dusan Lajovic, the 2019 runner-up of the same tournament, while Daniel Altmaier will play against Félix Auger-Aliassime. Finally, Bu Yunchaokete will challenge Lorenzo Musetti. Find the updated full draw below.
