Mouratoglou on the challenge facing Djokovic: "He'll have to get back into incredible shape".
Patrick Mouratoglou spoke to Tennis Majors about the keys to Novak Djokovic's 2025 season, as he embarks on the final stretch of his career with Andy Murray now in his clan.
Faced with the performances of Sinner and Alcaraz throughout the year, Djokovic will need to find new solutions if he is to return to the top.
Mouratoglou believes that the Serb's form will be decisive if he is to challenge the two players who shared the Grand Slams in 2024: "The challenge is immense. The level shown by Sinner and Alcaraz at the moment is very impressive.
It's even harder for Novak to beat Sinner than Alcaraz. Sinner doesn't miss a thing. He has the same ability as Novak and his court coverage is extraordinary.
He doesn't miss shots and gets to the ball earlier than Novak. Djokovic will have to return to incredible form to dominate Sinner.
I'm not saying it's easier to beat Alcaraz, because that won't be the case either.
You have to deal with his power, his changes of pace, his lift, his speed... It's an incredible physical challenge."
