Moutet to his fans: "Thank you from the bottom of my heart".
Corentin Moutet had a rather strange 2024 season.
While he achieved several good results, notably at Roland-Garros where he reached the Round of 16, the Frenchman also experienced much trickier periods when he won very little.
With his sights already set on 2025, Moutet addressed his fans and his former coach in a beautiful letter posted on his social networks: "Hi everyone! I wanted to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
This year hasn't been easy, with its ups and downs. Most of all, missing out on two Grand Slams. But in spite of it all, you've been there, always by my side, supporting me and believing in me.
Your presence and encouragement have helped me enormously, and I'm really grateful to have you. Above all, a big thank you to Petar Popovic, my coach, with whom I'm ending a wonderful collaboration. The last two years, marked by my wrist injury, have not been easy, but he has always believed in me and supported me all the way.
I wish him all the best for the future, and I'll never forget everything he's done for me. I'm gearing up to make 2025 a great year. Thank you again for your unconditional support, it means a lot to me. Corentin."
