Moya Speaks Out About Alcaraz Documentary: "It's Impossible to Achieve What He Has Without Discipline and Hard Work"

The Netflix documentary about Carlos Alcaraz was released on April 23. Across its three episodes, viewers gain insight into the personal life of the world No. 3 and the goals he has set for the rest of his career.
Nearly two weeks after the documentary's release, former player Carlos Moya shared his thoughts with the media outlet *Relevo*:
"It's impossible to achieve what he has without discipline and hard work. He’s 21 (turning 22 this Monday), and he has the right to live as he says. He’s not harming anyone, and he’s still winning.
"Is it sustainable in the long term? It’s hard to say. But he has his team advising him, guiding him, and telling him how things are."
The former coach of Rafael Nadal also addressed Alcaraz’s famous statement, "I don’t want to be a slave to tennis." He took the time to respond by referencing his former protégé:
"Rafa had a full life outside of tennis. Maybe he didn’t attend as many events, like Formula 1 or motorcycle races. I know him very well, and I know he had his passions and enjoyed his free time. Rafa wasn’t a slave to tennis."
