Müller on his encounter with Federer: "We talked about golf. I think he wants to beat Rafa"
Alexandre Müller is in Munich and will face Alexander Zverev in the first round on Monday.
Before the tournament, he was interviewed by the ATP and spoke about Roger Federer: "When he was still active, we practiced together, but unfortunately, I never got to play him."
Müller talked about the time he met Federer on a golf course in Dubai: "He had a tee time 10 minutes before mine, so I was behind him for nine or ten holes.
On the last few holes, I was with him because the guy ahead of him was a bit slow. So, at the start of each hole, I was with him, and we chatted a little. It was nice.
We talked about golf—he played really well. He trains a lot; I think he wants to beat Rafa."
