Musetti calmly advances to the second round

A new member of the Top 10 since the start of the clay court season, Lorenzo Musetti perfectly managed his debut at Roland-Garros.

The Monte-Carlo finalist, facing qualifier Yannick Hanfmann, needed one set to find his rhythm before powering through to win 7-5, 6-2, 6-0 in just over two hours of play. With 38 winners and 22 unforced errors, Musetti did not face a single break point during the match.

An ideal start for the world No. 8, who will face the winner of the match between Valentin Royer and Daniel Galan in the second round.
