The tribute to Rafael Nadal began on the Philippe-Chatrier court.
Dressed in black, the fourteen-time winner of the tournament felt a lot of emotions in front of the spectators, who wore a t-shirt with the text "Thank you Rafa." A video was shown on the court's giant screens, highlighting the Majorcan's exploits on the Parisian clay (see video below).
