Nadal in Hamburg for singles and doubles?
Rafael Nadal has regained his taste for tennis. Back in action since Barcelona, the Majorcan's level of tennis seems to have been rising steadily since April. After a good tournament in Madrid and an excellent showing against Zverev in the first round of the French Open, the Spaniard seems to be back to his best.
Motivated once again, 'Rafa' is already focused on his next objective, the Paris Olympics. Already training on clay, the tennis legend hinted that he would skip Wimbledon in order to be at his best on the surface.
With this in mind, it seems he intends to play in Hamburg just before the Paris Games. A little more unusual: Nadal is said to have expressed the wish to play doubles alongside Carlos Alcaraz in preparation for the Olympic Games. Indeed, both men had expressed the wish to play together.
