Nadal's Mark Engraved on Court Philippe-Chatrier
The tribute ceremony for Rafael Nadal concluded beautifully.
The fourteen-time Roland-Garros winner first received a trophy from Amélie Mauresmo, the tournament director, and Gilles Moretton, president of the FFT.
The trophy, created especially for the occasion, features the years of each of his victories, his signature, and the word 'Legend'.
But Nadal was moved to tears once again when he was invited to the side of the court, where an engraved plaque bearing his name and the number of titles he has won was revealed. A surprise that brought the king of clay to tears.
