Defeated by Mensik in the final of the Miami Masters 1000, Djokovic missed the opportunity to win his 100th career title.

During the award ceremony, the Serbian showed great respect toward his opponent:

"I don’t want to say too much. This is Jakub’s moment, a moment for his team and his family. Congratulations. He had an incredible tournament. The first of many. It hurts to admit it, but you were better."

A statement highly praised by many observers, highlighting the Joker’s class. Former world No. 1 Martina Navratilova shared her thoughts on the 24-time Grand Slam champion:
