Navratilova Reveals Her Favorite for the WTA Finals

Martina Navratilova leaves no room for doubt. As the 2025 WTA Finals in Riyadh approach (November 1st to 8th), the legend of women's tennis sees an absolute favorite: Aryna Sabalenka.

The former champion with 18 Grand Slam titles opened up to the WTA website to describe the Belarusian's dominance.

"She was only three or four games away from winning the Grand Slam this year. Her consistency should not be underestimated. She peaked in all the Majors. She probably regretted her loss at Roland-Garros against Coco Gauff.

But she got back up, went on a run, and dominated at the US Open. She is fast, but not too fast, she hits hard, but with precision. It's a deadly combination on the courts. Sabalenka is at the peak of her powers and if she plays at her best, no one will be able to beat her."

The WTA Finals in Riyadh will therefore mark the end of an intense season for the players. It remains to be seen which champion will seize the Grail this year.
