Starting November 1st, the 2025 WTA Finals will take place in Riyadh, the Saudi capital.

The end of the season is taking shape on the WTA tour. While the final WTA 250 tournaments are being held this week in Jiujang and Hong Kong, the WTA Finals, the tournament featuring the eight players who have accumulated the most points since January, will be held from November 1st to 8th in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, for the second consecutive season.

Defending champion Coco Gauff will face Aryna Sabalenka, Jessica Pegula, and Jasmine Paolini in the Steffi Graf Group. In the Serena Williams Group, the other four players qualified for this 2025 edition of the Finals, namely Iga Swiatek, Amanda Anisimova, Elena Rybakina, and Madison Keys, will compete to try and advance to the next round.

As a reminder, the format of the WTA Finals is as follows: each player will face the three other participants in the group they are drawn into, and then the top two players from each group will advance to the semi-finals.

The winner of the Steffi Graf Group will face the runner-up of the Serena Williams Group, and the runner-up of the Steffi Graf Group will challenge the winner of the Serena Williams Group after the three round-robin matches.

From the semi-finals onward, the tournament returns to a standard WTA format with the semi-finals, followed by the final the next day. The matchups for the first day of each group should be announced in the coming hours.
