Novak Djokovic has reached the final of the Miami Masters 1000. The Serbian dominated Grigor Dimitrov (6-2, 6-3) and secured his spot in his 60th Masters 1000 final since the start of his career. In the final, he will attempt to win his 100th professional title against Jakub Mensik.
After his victory, the Serbian had the chance to meet another sports legend in the stands of the center court—Lionel Messi. The Argentine footballer, an eight-time Ballon d'Or winner, was indeed present to watch Djokovic's match against the Bulgarian.
The FC Barcelona legend, who also played for Paris Saint-Germain between 2021 and 2023, now plays for Inter Miami and took advantage of his free time to attend some tennis matches.
On social media, Djokovic shared photos of himself with Messi. The two athletes exchanged outfits—Messi gave the Serbian a pink jersey from his Florida team, while Djokovic reciprocated with his signed Lacoste outfit worn during the tournament.
