"Novak is the greatest athlete who ever lived," says Ruud about Djokovic
In a video posted on social media platform X, Casper Ruud, currently the world No. 13 player, answered the question of who the greatest athlete in history is. According to him, the record Grand Slam champion, Novak Djokovic, tops his list.
"I don’t want to make comparisons because it’s stupid. But if you compare Novak’s athletic qualities to those of Tom Brady, you realize he’s the best player in the world.
I think Novak would crush him in most physical tests you could do. And on the other hand, LeBron (James) would crush Novak in some physical tests. So I don’t know, but for me, Novak is the greatest athlete who ever lived."
For context, Djokovic has reached the semifinals in Grand Slams three times this year, all at the age of 38.
