In the realm of happy news, Ons Jabeur announced this Monday that she is pregnant with her first child. It was on her social networks that the Tunisian, aged 31, revealed the news in a video with her husband Karim Kammoun.
"I took a little break to recharge... It turns out we had prepared the cutest comeback of all time. The courts will have to wait a little longer, because soon, we will welcome a little teammate. A little boy will join our team in April," she wrote on Instagram.
Jabeur, a three-time Grand Slam finalist (Wimbledon 2022 and 2023, US Open 2022), had ended her 2025 season as early as July, exhausted by the relentless pace of the tour and the pressure of results. She had mentioned a few days ago having gone through a period of depression.
