Osaka Reportedly Sets Sights on Swiatek's Former Coach
Yesterday, Naomi Osaka and Patrick Mouratoglou ended their ten-month collaboration.
Currently competing in Montreal (where she faces Ariana Arseneault, ranked 511th in the world), Osaka may have already chosen her next coach. The outlet Polski Tenis reveals that Tomasz Wiktorowski is expected to become the new coach of the four-time Grand Slam champion.
He is reportedly en route to Montreal to join the Japanese player's team.
The 44-year-old Wiktorowski previously coached Agnieszka Radwanska for seven years (2011–2018) before working with Iga Swiatek, winning four Grand Slam titles together. Their highly successful partnership ended last year after the US Open.
