Ostapenko: "I don't care what people think of me"
Jelena Ostapenko spoke at a press conference after her victory against Ekaterina Alexandrova in Stuttgart. She will face Aryna Sabalenka this Monday in an attempt to win the title.
She had a few words about her opponent: "I've played against her a few times before, I know what I have to do. I just need to focus on my game."

The Latvian was also asked about how she feels regarding what other players might think of her playing style. To this question, Ostapenko was very clear.
"Honestly, I don’t care what people think of me. I focus on myself and what I need to do. There will always be critics and admirers, so it doesn’t matter.
Critics only make you stronger."
